One-day Workshop Cost: $75 + GST per person This workshop provides support workers with the underpinning knowledge and skills needed to interact effectively with people who have dementia.
Participants will gain an understanding of: · Person-centred care and effective communication; · The nature of dementia and its impacts on the individual; and · Understanding and responding to behaviours of concern.
Who should attend this workshop? Anyone working in aged or community care, health care or community services, and who may need to interact with people with dementia.
