Recipes for a Healthy Mind

Alzheimer's Australia WA has developed a new recipe book showcasing a range of healthy recipes which could help reduce your risk of developing dementia.

We believe to have a healthy mind, you have to have a healthy body. The recipes in this cookbook are focussed on balancing the five food groups which include fruit, vegetables, meat, eggs, fish, milk and other dairy products to create healthy meals.

Eating healthy doesn't necessary mean bland tasting food. Recipes for a Healthy Mind challenges that thinking by providing a range of delicious healthy meals to inspire the senses and reduce your risk of developing dementia.

This book features recipes from volunteers, Board member, staff and friends of Alzheimer's Australia WA. It also includes a large selection of recipes from various celebrity chefs such as Maggier Beer and Stephanie Alexander.

The book will be launched in November 2007 but you can get a copy of the book today!
