Special Interest Groups

Special interest groups offer a four-session program for family carers of people with dementia, exploring in depth aspects of well-being for carers. Group topics for 2008 are:

• Loss and grief;
• Entering residential care; and
• Living positively.

This program is intended for:
People providing care to a person with dementia, and family or friends of people with dementia

Duration:
One 2-hour session per week for 4 weeks.

Cost:
FREE

Special interest groups will run at our Shenton Park centre in the following months:

Loss and Grief                   Tues 5th February  2pm to 4pm
                                       Tues 12th February 2pm to 4pm
                                       Tues 19th February 2pm to 4pm
                                       Tues 26th February 2pm to 4pm 

Living positively                    May (Dates to be advised)

Entering residential care    August (Dates to be advised)
